Joseph E. Rusinovich is
founder and president of HRM Partners, a human resources management
consulting company specializing in small- to medium-sized multinational
companies.
A senior level human resources management consultant with 20 years
of HR management expertise, Mr. Rusinovich and HRM Partners specialize
in such areas as compensation program development, management communications
programs, performance management, benefits, employee relations,
conflict management and policy development.
Prior to establishing HRM Partners in 1994, Mr. Rusinovich spent
five years as practice leader for PCG, HR management consulting
firm which worked with Japanese corporations and was focused on
improving employee communications and implementing competitive compensation
programs and successful staffing solutions. Before joining PCG,
Mr. Rusinovich was with NCR Corporation for 10 years in various
HR management positions in several locations including unionized
and non-unionized plants, division and subsidiary organizations
and corporate headquarters. He was a member of NCR's Personnel Enhancement
Programs which was responsible for developing and implementing 30
state-of-the art personnel programs ranging from performance management,
HR information systems and personnel planning to early identification
and development, succession planning and women and minorities in
management. He received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science/History and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations
from West Virginia University.
Munero Ueda provides business
development and is a human resources consulting staff for HR Advisor's
Japanese clients. Mr. Ueda has an extensive background in sales and
marketing as well as human resources related issues such as labor
laws, hiring and termination; salary and benefits structure; and workers
compensation to name a few.
Prior to joining HRM Partners, he was with Pasona Pacific, Inc.
in Torrance, California for 10 years; he oversaw the operation of
the permanent, temporary and administration divisions; developed
new clientele targeting Japanese corporations in South Bay area;
and planned and conducted various human resources related seminars
and workshops for executives in Japanese. A native of Japan, Mr.
Ueda received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from
Takushoku University, Tokyo, Japan and is fluent in Japanese.
Ritsuko Hamagami Moody, SPHR
a senior human resources consultant with over 15 years of HR experience,
has been with HRM Partners since 2000. She has worked primarily for small-
to mid-size companies in California.
Ms. Hamagami's expertise includes recruiting and staffing, personnel
policy and procedure development, job analysis and position descriptions,
performance management, total compensation structure development,
supervisory training and regulatory compliance as well as handling
day-to-day employee relations issues.
Ms. Hamagami holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kobe City University
of Foreign Studies in Japan and a Master of Arts degree from Monterey Institute
of International Studies. Ms. Hamagami has earned the Senior Professional in
Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Akira Takahashi
is a human resources consultant for
HRM Partners providing generalist human resources management
activities. Since joining HRM in 2003, Mr. Takahashi's work
has included coordinating human resources function activities
at client sites, conducting seminars and training in both
English and Japanese for employees and managers, and providing
management consulting in both English and Japanese.
Mr. Takahashi attended Kanagawa University in Kanagawa,
Japan where he studied International Business. He also
attended De Anza College in Cupertino, CA where he
received an Associates of Art degree. He received a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from
California State University, Long Beach.
Eri Yoshihara is a Human Resources specialist at
HRM Partners in Los Angeles. Her work activities include
translating and interpreting corporate HR programs between
U.S. and Japan business units, assisting with client projects
and work assignments and working as an on-site HR specialist
at customer sites.
Ms. Yoshihara studied at Japan College of Foreign Language
in Tokyo, Japan prior to coming to the United States when she
pursued and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from
Concord University in Athens, WV.
Don Kensil is a senior
human resources consultant for HRM with expertise in all aspects
of human resources from recruitment and hiring to employee
relations and termination to employee and management training.
Mr. Kensil's work at HRM involves coordinating on-site human
resources function activities, developing employment-related
communications documents such as offer letters, termination
documents, employee handbooks and job descriptions. Mr. Kensil
also designs and delivers various training programs for HRM
clients in areas such as basic supervision, performance
appraisal, coaching and counseling employees and customer
relations and basic selling skills.
Mr. Kensil's background includes ten years in human resources,
marketing communications, sales, and management and product
training. He has previously worked at NCR Corporation, and Octel
Communications Corporation. He has a Bachelor's degree from
Long Island University, a Master's degree from the State
University of New York and a Master's Degree in Education
Technology from San Francisco State University. In addition,
Mr. Kensil has earned the Senior Professional in Human
Resources (SPHR) certification from the Society of Human
Resources Management (SHRM).
Frank Morizawa is a human
resources consultant with over 15 years of dedicated human resources
management and generalist experience. His practice focuses in the
areas of management recruitment, compensation program development
and management communication/performance management. He has established
extensive networks in many diverse industries including financial
services, manufacturing and hospitality.
Prior to joining HRM Partners, Mr. Morizawa spearheaded his own
independent HR Consulting practice and provided services for both
small and large organizations. As a hands-on, result-oriented human
resources professional, Mr. Morizawa has had experience with HR
start-up operations, performed all day-to-day responsibilities for
a one-person HR department and developed personnel policies and
procedures manuals for companies. Also, he has worked with labor
unions and is familiar with Affirmative Action plans and EEO requirements.
Technical recruiting as well as management contract recruiting rounds
out his broad expertise.
Mr. Morizawa is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management
(SHRM), Association of Human Resources Professionals (PIHRA) and
currently serves on the board of directors for the Orange County
Employers' Advisory Council (OCEAC). He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources
Management from California State University, Los Angeles.
Yoshiko Perry is a senior
employee benefits consultant who provides HRM Partners with specialized
benefits consulting. Ms. Perry was formerly President of Cambridge
Consultants and a Senior Manager for the Deloitte-Touche Actuarial
Benefits and Compensation Consulting practice in Los Angeles specializing
in the design, financial modeling and administration of health and
retirement plans. In addition, during her tenure at Deloitte-Touche,
she was a liaison for the Pacific Rim Practice in San Francisco working
nationally with Japanese clients.
Prior to joining Deloitte-Touche, Ms. Perry served in a variety
of roles at Maxicare Health Plans which included Assistant Vice
President, Benefits Administration and Director of Operations at
Maxicare Life and Health Insurance Plans and Senior Officer for
the Nashville Regional Center of Maxicare Health Plans.
Marv Paul is the owner
of Actuarial & Financial Consulting that provides actuarial services
to HRM Partners in areas that include retirement, health & welfare
fringe benefits and the impact of these areas on short and long
term company financial results.
Marv has been in the employee benefits and insurance field for
over 30 years having worked for "Big 5" accounting firms, consulting
organizations and insurance companies. He is a Fellow of the Society
of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary (licensed to practice before IRS),
a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and was recently a
Member of the Committee on Employee Benefit Accounting Matters for
the American Academy of Actuaries.
Marv has a B.A. degree in mathematics from the University of the
City of New York. Among his professional activities, he has made
a presentation to the President's Commission on Public Pension Policy
for the United States and is active in several local and region
wide industry groups.
Sho Sakakibara is a
Human Resources Consultant in Los Angeles. His work activities
include working at client sites on human resource assignments providing
translation services to clients and assisting senior management with human
resource projects and assignments.
Mr. SAKAKIBARA came to the United States to attend high school in Portland,
Oregon. Upon graduation, he moved to San Francisco to attend the University
of San Francisco where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International
Business in May, 2005.
Asako Sunda is a Human Resources
specialist at HRM Partners in Los Angeles. Her work activities include
translating and interpreting corporate HR programs between U.S. and Japan
business units, providing personnel research, assisting with client
projects and work assignments and working as an on-site HR specialist
at customer sites.
Ms. Sunda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Science from
Nagoya City University in Japan, and a Master of Science in Human
Resources Organization Development from Eastern Michigan University
in Ypsilanti, MI.
